About me
My name is Poppy Peach, I am a certified trauma-informed horse trainer and animal communicator.
Me and my gorgeous horses Willow and Annie are based in East Sussex in the South of England, at the base of the South Downs.
Joyful Commitments
It is a major part of my lifelong dedication to horses to create a 'contract' of relational ethics that I wish to hold myself accountable to. I call them my joyful commitments, and you can read them below.

Willow, Annie and River
Of course, this page would not be complete without an introduction to Willow, Annie and River. They are my inspiration, and this endeavour would not exist without them.
WILLOW
Willow is deeply wise, grounded and peaceful. She is the most sensitive horse I have ever known, able to pick up on the tiniest cues and intentions. I have never been transformed by another horse as much as I have been by Willow - we have been on a journey of challenge, unlearning and relearning together. I feel that I know her better than any other being in my life, and at the same time feel that I am meeting her for the first time every day.
ANNIE
Annie is young, curious and joyful. She is incredibly explorative and enthusiastic, and her wonder is contagious. She is deeply sociable and has endless interest in the world around her. Her past in the racing industry has left her with both physical and emotional wounds, and I am forever in awe of how able she is to engage with her healing with both enthusiasm and joy, even in the moments she finds challenging.
RIVER
Beautiful River died on the 6th July, 2026. This photo is from her last day on this planet. I had the honour of sharing my life with her and having her in my herd for around a year, and in that time I experienced her as one of the most gentle, subtle, patient and caring horses I have ever known. She was quiet, kind, and mystical, and taught me so much about listening more deeply and more attentively than I ever had before.
